Russia invades Ukraine; Barry skips security team meeting on Ukraine

Democrats really don't care about foreign policy except to the extent that their ineptitude at foreign policy and their utter lack of concern about the security of U.S. interests overseas become campaign issues. After all, you can't get many votes by committing voter fraud overseas, and most Americans overseas are military, and they mostly vote Republican. Much more productive to bribe voters at home with "free" stuff and come up with ways to make sure overseas absentee ballots don't get counted.

Oh, I'm sorry, is that too cynical? Of course Democrats care about foreign policy. I guess that's why President Dickhead went to bed while his ambassador to Libya was being killed in Benghazi and why President Dickhead didn't bother to attend a national security team meeting about how to deal with the Russians invading Ukraine:
According to Time magazine's Zeke Miller, Obama skipped the meeting. "Obama did not attend the meeting, but WH official says he has been briefed by Susan Rice and his national security team," says Miller.
Of course, if it had been an actual invasion and not just an "uncontested arrival," I'm sure Barry would have gone to the meeting. On the other hand, maybe the reason his statement on the invasion was so weak and so short was because he was late for happy hour at a Democratic Fundraiser (video at the link).

And let's face it, if Democrats, and Obama in particular, cared about foreign policy, would John Kerry be Secretary of State?
