St. Lucia sounds good right about now

It is colder than a well digger's butt in the Klondike around here lately, and we're still above zero, unlike a lot of other places. Having said that, I think Saint Lucia sounds like a wonderful destination and I'm glad someone from there came by.

For those of you who don't know, Saint Lucia is:
a sovereign island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean.[5] Part of theLesser Antilles, it is located north/northeast of the island of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. It covers a land area of 617 km2 (238.23 sq mi) and has a population of 174,000 (2010). Its capital is Castries.
The island was under French control for a long time, but the British took over for good after the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte in 1815. It was a British colony until it gained full independence in 1979.  The island, which is volcanic, is more mountainous than many Caribbean islands. About a third of the population lives in the capital of Castries. The island is a commonwealth state with Elizabeth II as the head of state, much like Canada. It is a two-party parliamentary democracy. Tourism is huge for the economy, and here's why:

Pretty nice, huh? All y'all should go there soon. Looks pretty sweet. In the meantime, give a big Eff You Welcome to Saint Lucia. Y'all come back soon, and bring your friends.
