The fix was in

I didn't see this particular tidbit reported in the mainstream media, but it makes it clear why the FBI did not recomment that Hillary! be prosecuted for her blatant mishandling of classified information, even though FBI Director James Comy detailed how blatantly Hillary! mishandled classified information the press conference in which he announced that he would not recommend that Hillary! be prosecuted. Emperor Barry I, who claimed he learned from news reports at the same time the rest of us did about the off-the-books private server Hillary was using for her email as secretary of state, in fact communicated with her on that private server using an alias:
Thanks to Friday’s FBI document dump — 189 more pages of reports from the Bureau’s year-long foray (“investigation” would not be the right word) into the Clinton e-mail scandal — we now know for certain what I predicted some eight months ago here at NRO: Any possibility of prosecuting Hillary Clinton was tanked by President Obama’s conflict of interest. As I explained in February, when it emerged that the White House was refusing to disclose at least 22 communications Obama had exchanged with then-secretary Clinton over the latter’s private e-mail account, we knew that Obama had knowingly engaged in the same misconduct that was the focus of the Clinton probe: the reckless mishandling of classified information.
They couldn't prosecute Hillary! for mishandling classified information without implicating Emperor Barry I. Ipso facto, no recommendation of prosecution. And yeah, Barry lied about when he knew about the private server. Barry lied -- this is a surprise? The fish rots from the head.
